Congressman Lamborn Hosts the 2015 Fifth Congressional District Art Competition

Friday, March 20th at Library 21c, Congressman Doug Lamborn will honor students from 20 high schools and home schools throughout the Fifth Congressional District who participated in the annual Congressional Art Competition.

The competition has been held every year since its creation in 1982 and provides Members of Congress with a unique opportunity to showcase the creative talents of high schoolers in their district. This nationwide event has seen over 700,000 students participate since 1982. The Grand Prize winner will receive an Art Scholarship, roundtrip airfare to Washington DC, where their painting will hang in the Capitol and the winner will be honored with a reception at the White House. 

Please join the Congressman to help honor and commend the exceptional young artists of the Fifth Congressional District.
