Following Special Counsel Robert Mueller's testimony to the House Judiciary Committee today, Congressman Lamborn released the following statement:
"Robert Mueller and his investigative team spent 22 months, interviewing approximately 500 witnesses, issuing nearly 2800 subpoenas and spending over 30 million dollars and still found no collusion. The report also did not bring charges for obstruction against the President. One hundred twenty days after Special Counsel Mueller's investigation concluded, Democrats continue to spend their time on a partisan witch hunt, rather than accepting the report's conclusions. Absolutely NO new information has been uncovered even though Democrats have spent nearly seven months investigating the President. The Democrats were hoping Mueller's testimony would springboard them towards an impeachment inquiry. That is what this has always been about; Democrats still cannot accept the results of the 2016 election. I believe It is past time for Democrats to accept reality and get back to work, solving real-life problems for the American people."
