Washington D.C. - Representatives Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), Doug Lamborn (R, CO-5) and Joe Wilson (R, SC-2), Co-Chairmen of the House Republican Israel Caucus, just released the following statement regarding the opening of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA):
“The United Nations has a responsibility to be a force for good, to promote freedom and peace throughout the world. Unfortunately, time and time again, as Co-Chairmen of the House Republican Israel Caucus, we’ve witnessed an inherent and dangerous anti-Israel bias seep from the UN that must be combatted. The UN must restore confidence in its body, root out anti-Semitic and anti-Israel hatred within its ranks, and reestablish integrity in its institution for the benefit of all member nations.”
