Memorial Day 2017 Statement

"This Memorial Day, I want to take a moment and recognize the immense sacrifice of those who have gone before us. Each generation of servicemen have answered the call of duty and gave up comfort and ease to defend their friends, their families, and their way of life.

Today, we give special notice to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. All gave some, but some gave all. These brave men and women deserve honor and recognition, and acknowledgement from their country that they have not died in vain. I wish a very happy Memorial Day to all of our military families in Colorado's fifth district."
