Representatives Lamborn, Horn Lead Letter Congratulating Israel on Newly Formed Government

June 12, 2020

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Lamborn and Congresswoman Horn led a letter with 13 Members of Congress to Prime Minister Netanyahu and Alternate Prime Minster Gantz congratulating them on Israel's newly formed government. The letter highlights our shared Judeo-Christian values and encourages their government to continue serving as an example of unity and cooperation to other countries in the region.

"I want to congratulate the nation of Israel on the formation of their new government. Throughout political uncertainty at home, a global pandemic, and regional chaos, Israel nevertheless continued to serve as a beacon of hope and an exemplar of self-governance to the world," said Congressman Doug Lamborn, Co-Chair of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus. "Even now, their labs are leading the way in fighting the coronavirus, and they have graciously provided much-needed aid throughout the Middle East. I wish our Israeli friends all the best in the days to come and look forward to working closely with the new government on the many areas of mutual interest and shared benefit to our nations."

"The United States and Israel have a historic bilateral relationship based on shared economic and security interests," said Congresswoman Kendra Horn. "I am committed to fostering that relationship and look forward to working together with the new Israeli government to support our two nations' shared interests."
