Congressman Lamborn made the following statement: “The B61-13 is not a long-term solution to get at hardened and deeply buried targets, but it will provide our commanders, particularly in INDOPACOM and EUCOM, with more flexibility and decision space to maneuver. As the Strategic Posture Commission recently noted, China and Russia are in a full-on arms race, and the U.S. is running in place."

“It is with a heavy heart and utmost resolve as Co-Chairs of the Israel Allies Caucus that we express our outrage about today’s still-ongoing, reprehensible attack on Israel by the terrorist forces of Hamas. We are appalled by the heinous act of violence targeting peaceful and innocent civilians during today’s Shabbat and holiday of Simchat Torah and express our deepest condolences to the families of those killed, prayers for the recovery of those wounded and hopes for the safe and immediate return of all taken hostage. The heinous attacks by Hamas comes one day after the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur war and is a stark reminder of the existential threats that Israel continues to face in the region. The Israeli people are under attack from thousands of rockets launched by Iranian backed terrorists in Gaza and incursions of terrorist fighters by land, sea and air. Make no mistake, we are united in our bipartisan commitment to ensure the United States Congress continues to stand alongside our closest ally in the Middle East and that the Israeli people have all the necessary resources to protect their sovereign right to self-defense.”

"I unequivocally condemn Hamas for its cowardly terrorist attack against Israel. I have reached out to Ambassador Herzog to express my full solidarity with the Israeli people in this dark hour. These heinous acts of violence must end."

"The House's Continuing Resolution provides the funding we need to keep the government afloat for 45 days. House Republicans will continue to work to get border security and a debt reduction commission in the final appropriations bills while cutting wasteful spending."
