Lamborn Pledges to Keep Funding for $36M veterans project in '17 Bill

Work could begin as soon as next year on a 374-acre veterans cemetery east of Colorado Springs as Congress moves forward with a measure to pay for the $36 million project.
Today, Congressman Doug Lamborn took part in the Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance 2016 Business Expo. During his time at the Expo, the Congressman was able to meet with local business owners and community leaders. He also answered questions and handed out Constituent Service Packets explaining all of the resources available in his local Colorado Springs office.

Recently, as part of the Fiscal Year 2017 Budget process, Congressman Doug Lamborn joined dozens of Congressmen in calling for actions to "address the ongoing decline in health of our National Forest System (NFS)." Including "Shifting funding toward those accounts that will allow the Forest Service to increase the scale and pace of restoration work in the NFS."

Recently, as part of the Fiscal Year 2017 Budget process, Congressman Doug Lamborn joined dozens of Congressmen in calling for a prohibition on the, "final adoption of the flawed Waters of the US rule by the EPA and the US Army Corps of Engineers." This action would, "have disastrous effects on agriculture, small business, and municipalities across the country.
Recently, as part of the Fiscal Year 2017 Budget process, Congressman Doug Lamborn joined dozens of Congressmen in calling for a prohibition on, "utilizing funds for unlawful executive actions on immigration."
